SVG Europe Women is back this month at BT Studios in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park London for another evening of networking and insightful sessions.
Timeline is pleased to be co-hosting the SVG Europe Women winter networking event with BT Sport on 30 January 2020. The event kicks off at 5.30pm with drinks and canapés.
With BT Sport presenters Abi Stephens and Sarra Elgan hosting and chairing sessions and one of the broadcaster’s women’s football experts, former Lionesses goalkeeper Rachel Brown-Finnis, also speaking, this is set to be an outstanding night.
SVG Europe Women is also pleased to announce the inaugural SVG Europe Women Award for recognition of significant achievement in encouraging the advancement of women working in sports broadcasting, which will be awarded on the evening.
The programme will include a chat show-style session that will provide insight from guests exploring women and inclusion, influencing future females to come into sports broadcasting, and setting strong female role models.
Also, the big debate session will ask engineers and educators about what needs to be done to bring more women into both engineering careers within sports broadcasting and the educational tracts to get them there. This will feature Timeline’s very own Roisin McKeniry, Head of Production Technology.
