Timeline Television has recently made a flurry of new appointments, including that of Outside Broadcast Unit Manager James Poole.
The company has won a number of large projects including SailGP, Formula E, BBC Tennis, Athletics and a number of football contracts. This has led to an increased requirement for industry experts to join their ever-expanding team.
James has over a decade of experience planning and delivering Outside Broadcast and Flyaway productions for TV, live events, cinema and streaming.
He has worked across a wide range of projects and genres including the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup for BBC Sport, Amazon Prime’s live tennis coverage, cinema broadcasts of ballet, opera and theatre as well as large brand events such as Tango League Football for Adidas, which was broadcast live from a barge on the River Thames at Tower Bridge.
“I’m delighted to be joining Timeline TV at a key time in the company’s expansion. As well as being a market-leading provider of UHD HDR outside broadcasts facilities, Timeline is now also established as the go-to technical partner for remote production, and I’m excited to join the exceptionally talented team there.” Comments James Poole.
Daniel McDonnell CEO adds, “James brings with him some great experience and established contacts in the industry and we’re delighted for him to be joining us at Timeline in this exciting period of growth.”
