Timeline is pleased to be working with Eurosport on the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship providing the live outside broadcast services. Eurosport is a strong broadcasting partner of World Superbikes and is showcasing the series with the coverage being distributed to 56 different countries worldwide. Eurosport will cover all the European rounds live with presentation and commentary on-site from Timeline.
Timeline’s production uplink truck, RF2, will be on site at all the European rounds linking the cameras and the world feeds back to London from the sharp end of Eurosport’s remote production formula. Two Timeline RF cameras will allow the presenters to get close up to the live action and a wireless IP floor monitor gives them visibility of the finished programme from London. A crew of four Timeline specialised people will share roles to cover all bases on this exciting broadcast.
Timeline’s RF2 uplink truck has been specially adapted for the project with a customised trailer to act as a mobile commentary area, 4-way H265 multiplexing and enhanced sound mixing facilities. Its onboard generator and UPS make it self-contained and truly ready to ‘broadcast anywhere’.
