Timeline is delighted to be working for Sunset+Vine|APP on the XCAT World Series from Dubai and Abu Dhabi!
The XCAT World Series is staged at spectacular locations across the globe and boasts an international line up with teams representing Italy, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Australia, Sweden, France and Spain.
Timeline have been commissioned to provide a vital element of the overall race coverage. Supplying and engineering on-board RF camera systems on four boats across the fleet, allowing viewers a pilot’s view of the race action and building on previous experience from sailing competitions including the Volvo Ocean Race, the America’s Cup and Vector Martini Racing.
The XCATS World Series project continues our long-standing professional relationship with the Sunset+Vine|APP team – working together to overcome the technical challenges of mounting RF camera systems on the exterior of the powerboat racing cats to provide thrilling, live sporting images to an international audience.
The XCAT World Series Dubai Grand Prix took place last week (19-21 November) and is followed by the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this week (25-27 November).
